Calcalist: Finance Minister Attempts to Mitigate Financial Restrictions on Independent Energy Projects


Adv. Noa Meidan and her team provide legal counsel to independent energy providers who produce power through privately owned power plants and are expected to be impacted by the new regulations that were announced this past March by the Public Utility Authority. The new regulations will place significant financial burdens on current independent power plant investors and are already causing the independent energy market to stagnate. Following appeals from the privet sector, The Ministry of Finance is currently attempting to mitigate the new regulations.
