LM’s unmatched expertise in tender law is the result of decades of experience working with government authorities and private companies throughout the various phases of the tender process. In 1992, our firm was actively involved in the enactment of the Mandatory Tenders Law and Regulations, and continues to provide ongoing legal counsel in preparing and processing various tenders.

Tender law, in general, and recent amendments to the Mandatory Tender Law, in particular, has a wide-reaching effect on corporate entities. LM’s expertise in this area, gained through its unmatched experience in representing state-owned entities, such as the Israeli National Roads Company and Israel Airports Authority (IAI), ensures that corporate clients receive the best possible legal advice regarding their participation in tenders.

Combining the firm’s in-depth knowledge of tender law with a keen business insight, LM represents and advises government ministries in major PFI/ BOT infrastructure projects, most of which are characterized by highly complex English-language tenders and elaborate financial structures.

The firm has recently been selected to represent the Israel Ports Development & Assets Company Ltd. in the tenders for the construction of two container terminals (“Bayport” in Haifa and “Southport” in Ashdod), and in the prequalification process of potential global operators for the operation and maintenance of the Southport and/ or Bayport container terminals.

In additions, the firm has been selected to represent the Israel Airports Authority in the tender for the construction of a new airport in the south of Israel (“Timna”).
