Alon Bar-El

Alon is a partner in our Litigation Department and specializes in complex litigation cases in the fields of civil, commercial, and administrative law.

As part of his work, Alon represents many of the firm’s clients in the industrial, commercial, retail, infrastructure, and telecommunication sectors in legal proceedings before various courts, including arbitration and mediation proceedings, civil claims, administrative petitions and class action suits.

Over the years, Alon has accumulated wide-ranging experience and specialized expertise in managing complex disputes in large scale construction and infrastructure projects, including ongoing project support.

The clients served by Alon, include large companies and public bodies in the Israeli market including the Israel Airports Authority, Netivei Israel (Israel’s National Transport Infrastructure Company), the Elco Electra Group, Partner Communications, the Ya’acobi Brothers Group (YSB), and others.

Representative Matters:
Representing Netivei Israel in a claim for 1 billion NIS, which included hundreds of reciprocal claims between Netivei Israel and a contractor in a large-scale national infrastructure project, handled in the framework of arbitration before the late Supreme Court Justice Dr. Eliyahu Vinograd;
Representing the Israel Airports Authority in a claim for 100 million NIS, submitted by contractors in the “Ben Gurion Airport 2000” project;
Representation of the Israel Airports Authority in claims for 60 million NIS submitted by contractors and subcontractors in the Timna International Airport project, in which Alon also provided legal counsel and ongoing support;
Representing the Two Sigma investment firm in its dispute with the Israel Land Authority regarding the solar thermal power station in Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh;
Representing Daon Inc. in a claim submitted by the company against the Administration of Border Crossings, Population and Immigration regarding the tender for the supply of a biometric identification system;
Representing the Israel Postal Authority in a monetary claims, administrative petitions, class action suits, and more.
