Avichai Dekel

Avichai Dekel is a member of the litigation department at Yossi Levy & Co.

Avichai regularly deals with complex civil, administrative and commercial litigation, alongside dealing in the areas of antitrust, tenders, infrastructure, contracts and class actions. As part of his work, Avichai regularly advises the firm’s clients and represents them in legal proceedings in the various courts, including in arbitration and mediation proceedings, administrative petitions, tender laws, commercial law, class actions and antitrust.

During his legal studies, Avichai was chosen by the university to do a summer internship at the New York Supreme Court, as well as at the Kings County Family Court in New York city.

Before joining our office, Avichay Interned at the State Attorney’s Office (civil department), the department in charge of representing the state at the Supreme Court of Israel. As part of his internship, Avichai was working on the most complex, interesting and high-profile civil litigation cases in the State of Israel, where he gained unique experience. As part of his work, Avichai was involved in writing appeals to the Supreme Court, took part in writing the positions of the Attorney General on matters affecting public policy and participated in staff discussions. In addition, Avichai took part in writing the codex of the state attorney, binding the various bodies of the attorney’s office.
